Digital Dental Treatment

1. Digital Navigation Implant

What is navigation Implant?

You can easily find information about
navigation implants
on Naver, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
But what exactly is it?
A navigation implant system
helps the dentist place an implant
in the planned position with high accuracy,
based on a computer-guided workflow.
First,
we plan the ideal final prosthesis position
(the crown/tooth that will be placed on top).
Then we place the implant
in the correct angle and location
to match that prosthesis plan.
To achieve excellent results,
the dentist must have a deep understanding of:
Intraoral scanning
Digital planning software
Various devices and machines used in a digital workflow
And, of course, proper implant surgical skills and principles
The key to a navigation implant is
a highly precise surgical guide.
This device allows implant surgery
to be performed
more efficiently and more accurately.

2. One-Day Cavity Treatment

Why should it be done at a true digital-focused dental clinic?

You may have experienced
taking impressions with
traditional rubber materials—
getting it on your face or clothes,
and struggling when it is removed.
With a large metal tray filled
with impression material in your mouth,
you may have felt
uncomfortable.
And since it takes more than five minutes to set,
it can be even more difficult
for people who breathe
primarily through their mouth.
You may also have heard:
“I know you’re busy,
but we need to send it to the lab,
so it will take several days.
Please come back next week.”
If the final prosthesis
doesn’t match the color or contact points,
it must be sent back to the lab for adjustment—
which means waiting several more days,
which can be frustrating for patients.
You might also have experienced:
Long chair-time adjusting a prosthesis before cementation
Food trapping and odor after placement
Metal showing through near the gum line
Re-making a prosthesis due to dissatisfaction, only to still be unhappy with the final shape
With digital dentistry,
most of these inconveniences
can be significantly reduced or solved.
As digital dentistry becomes more common,
many clinics advertise “digital treatment.”
However, for a clinic to truly provide digital dentistry,
it should meet the following conditions:
1.
It should not rely on conventional rubber impression materials.
2.
Immediate modification of the prosthesis should be possible.
3.
The prosthesis should be fabricated as planned from the beginning.
4.
The delivery appointment should not require excessively long adjustment time.

Use of intraoral scanner

Even if the past was different,
today,
a skilled dentist using
a high-quality intraoral scanner
can create extremely precise prostheses.
A good intraoral scanner
offers very high accuracy—
comparable to traditional impressions.
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic,
except in unavoidable cases
such as partial or complete dentures,
we use an intraoral scanner
throughout the treatment process.
By using a scanner instead of
uncomfortable impression materials,
the scanning process is:
Much more comfortable
Faster
Less stressful for patients

Prostheses that are made right from the start

When we scan and design digitally,
the time needed to adjust
a crown or restoration
by repeatedly inserting and removing it
is dramatically reduced.
Because we can predict the final shape
and verify the design process in real time
in the clinic, the dentist can control:
Shape
Color
Contact and spacing with adjacent teeth
This significantly reduces the time
required for delivery and cementation.

Using the CEREC System

With CEREC,
we can provide a
higher level of
one-day restorative treatment.
CEREC exists to deliver
precise and aesthetic
same-day restorations
for convenient and efficient dental care.
<CEREC Omnicam introduced in 2018>
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic,
we have provided CEREC-based
same-day restorative treatment
from the early stages of digital dentistry.
One of the most
representative CEREC treatments is
same-day inlay treatment.
Designed inlays, crowns,
and other restorations are fabricated
through a specialized milling machine
like the one shown above.
The CEREC system has continuously evolved,
and Seoul Hue Dental Clinic
keeps pace by adopting and using the latest,
most advanced CEREC workflow.
Experience the most advanced same-day dentistry
at Seoul Hue Dental Clinic.
Traditionally, inlay treatment involved:
Anesthesia
Taking an impression
Temporization
Returning another day for final placement (often requiring anesthesia again)
But now:
With one-day inlay treatment,
everything can be completed
in a single visit—
from start to finish, on the same day.
Because anesthesia is done only once:
You don’t need to come back for impression-based procedures
You avoid sensitivity and inconvenience between appointments
Since treatment is completed the same day,
you are free from discomfort
and complications that can occur
during the temporary restoration period.
In addition, unlike gold,
we use a special material
that matches the natural tooth color
extremely well.

A Better Choice for One-Day Treatment

Straumann is famous for implants,
but it is also highly respected
for producing excellent materials
for same-day restorations.
We do not use materials
simply to “look good.”
We use products from Swiss Straumann,
known for proven durability and aesthetics.
If it were our own family
receiving treatment,
we would never choose just any material.
That is why we use materials
that deliver the best outcomes for every patient.

3. Fully Controlled Process by Dentist

The entire procedure is led and controlled by the dentist

In digital dentistry,
the dentist is the only person
who can properly decide
every key factor
within the digital treatment system.
To provide truly digital treatment,
the dentist must understand
the entire workflow-like,
how treatment should be planned,
how prostheses are
designed and fabricated,
and how to obtain
more accurate and necessary data
by using the intraoral scanner
and digital software properly.
More than anyone else,
the head dentist must fully understand
and be able to operate the digital system.
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic,
the head dentist understands every step of the process,
and also knows how to solve problems when they occur.
This is what makes high-level digital dentistry possible.

A clinic that does not remain in the past

Dental technology continues to evolve every year,
and the difference is even more noticeable in digital dentistry.
We continuously study
and train to deliver the most advanced
form of digital dental treatment—
with better results and
greater comfort for patients.
We actively participate in world-renowned seminars
and events in countries such as Denmark and Germany,
learning the latest knowledge
and bringing cutting-edge techniques
into our clinical practice.
By applying advanced technologies,
we strive to provide treatment that is:
Faster
More accurate
More comfortable
More satisfying in both function and aesthetics
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic,
you can easily feel and experience these advantages.

4. Various Systems for Advanced Digital Dentistry

Treatment with an in-house dental laboratory

Because we have an in-house lab,
we can determine from the early stages
whether a restoration can be fabricated to be:
Strong and resistant to fracture
Aesthetic, without the gum line showing through
Even if the restoration needs adjustment due to:
Color mismatch
Loose contacts or spacing
we can resolve it immediately
without waiting several days.
Within an hour,
we can often achieve the color
and contact points you want.
By using an intraoral scanner,
crowns and bridges can be fabricated:
Without the severe discomfort of impression materials
With high accuracy, longevity, and aesthetics
However, scanner-based
prosthetic treatment requires
delicate technique.
To scan and prepare teeth properly,
the dentist must:
Avoid excessive gingival retraction that can injure the gum line
Prepare the tooth so the restoration does not show through
Maintain uniform thickness so the prosthesis functions reliably
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic,
we provide restorations
that look natural and fit well—
with a more comfortable
impression/scanning experience.

Various devices for advanced digital treatment

Two Primescans enable high-level digital dentistry
Primemill, faster and more precise
than previous generations,
improves same-day restorative care
A high-performance zirconia milling machine
enables more accurate prosthesis fabrication
A precise 3D printer and wireless laser
further enhance treatment quality.
With the latest digital devices,
you can experience treatment that is:
More aesthetic
Longer-lasting
More comfortable
A dentist and dental technician
familiar with various programs—such as:
Exocad
3Shape Dental Systems
3Shape Unite
work together
to deliver the most aesthetic
and optimal outcomes for each patient.

Primescan & Primemill

We treat patients
using two units of Dentsply Sirona’s German-made Primescan,
along with the highly precise Primemill.
A large number of restorations
are fabricated
under strict maintenance
and quality control
using specialized machines.
Precise scan data from Primescan
combined with
high-quality milling by Primemill
helps deliver
same-day restorations
that satisfy
both patients and clinicians.
With Primemill,
we can fabricate
inlays, onlays, and veneers
in a highly innovative way—
faster and more accurately than before.

High-Quality Zirconia

In the past, there were mainly
two choices for crowns:
Gold
Ceramic
Gold was commonly used
for molars and required
less tooth reduction,
but because it is thin,
it can develop holes more easily,
which increases the risk of secondary decay.
Ceramic, on the other hand,
was often too fragile for molars.
In the early 2000s,
Zirconia crowns appeared,
but at that time zirconia was
overly white and unnatural,
making it difficult to fully replace ceramics.
However, as materials evolved,
zirconia has advanced significantly.
Now, multi-layer and more natural-looking zirconia options exist,
with color and translucency that match natural teeth by position.
Thanks to these improvements,
we can fabricate zirconia restorations that are:
More natural-looking
More accurate in fit
Zirconia is highly resistant to fracture,
has a natural tooth-like color,
and has a surface characteristic
that makes plaque less likely to accumulate—
making it an excellent restorative material.
At Seoul Hue Dental Clinic, our in-house, aesthetic,
high-purity zirconia restorations are
designed to help your prosthesis
stay beautiful and strong for a long time.

We strive for the best possible treatment

There are many kinds of dental materials and equipment—
some of them expensive, some of them not.
For better oral health outcomes, we pursue:
Better materials
More precise and effective devices
More durable, aesthetic, and long-lasting results
For zirconia restorations and inlay treatments,
we do not use materials that
only “look good” but fail easily.
Instead,
we choose materials
that are both strong and aesthetic,
minimizing patient discomfort.
Even for curing lights used for
resin polymerization,
we use higher-quality devices
rather than the most common basic options,
to help restorations last longer.
